Unfortunately, not all businesses can make use of the Silicon Silk pay services due to legislation, regulation, network rules or requirements from our providers. We want to be as transparent as possible so please have a look at the below categories to be sure we can be of service to you.

We have 3 categories of absolute prohibited businesses that we do not accept as clients.

1. Financial Services

1.1 Investment & Credit Services including;

  • Rotation savings
  • Forex

1.2 Money and Legal Services including; 

  • Cheque cashing
  • Cash Transfer

1.3 Virtual Currency or Stored Value including; 

  • Bitcoin or any crypto currencies related platforms

2. Unregulated, Illegal products and Services

  • Narcotics
  • Pyramid schemes
  • Products and services with varying legal statuses on a state-by-state/country basis

3. Other Prohibited High-Risk products and Services

  • Any gambling related platforms, e-casinos, lottery and card games
  • Sales of tobacco, e-cigarettes and e-liquid, counterfeit products and/or weapons
  • Gold, precious stones and gemstones
  • Any Adult content, including pornographic content, content escort platforms, pay-per-view, webcam services and/or violent content
  • Auction platforms that are not supported by a regulated action house
  • Dietary and/or Food supplements
  • Multi-Level Marketing
  • C2C Shipment Transport
  • Video Games, Competitions and/or e-sports
  • Psychic Services
  • Any product or business that we believe poses elevated financial risk, legal liability or violation of bank policies

4. Businesses that are accepted on a case-by-case basis

Apart from the 3 above categories we have multiple services that we allow the use of our services to, but which we judge on a case-by-case basis. If your activity is one of the below, please contact us to ensure together if Silicon Pay is the right fit for your business.

  • Payment Solutions, on web, mobile, app or by e-mail
  • Remittance funds
  • Prepaid card solutions
  • SaaS e-commerce solutions
  • SaaS Marketplace solutions
  • SaaS Crowdfunding solutions
  • Unregulated Crowdfunding equity platforms 
  • Charitable donations, gift and/or counter gifts
  • Any solution that is White or Grey Label
  • Compliant platforms that have their client targets outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)
  • Complex Financial Workflow platforms
  • E-commerce platforms, unless your annual turnover is above a certain treshold per year
  • E-Pharmacy Marketplaces
  • Online Travel Agencies
  • Alcohol related services
